Kayla Starr Bryan
Dancer, Singer, Actor, Choreographer
Kayla was born and raised in Lexington, KY. She is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where she earned her degree in Theatre Studies and held a Dance minor. After living in NYC for nearly 7 years, she now resides in Dallas, Texas.
Kayla made her national tour debut on the First National Tour of Nice Work If You Can Get It! She was also in the China Premiere production of "A Chorus Line" in Shanghai, under the direction of Baayork Lee, working as a Swing and covering multiple roles. She has worked regionally at Paragon Music Theatre, Lexington Children's Theatre, KCT Summerfest, Bluegrass Youth Ballet, Kentucky Ballet Theatre, Playhouse on Park (CT), Ivoryton Playhouse, and the Lyric Stage Company of Boston.
Her choreography credits include choreographing pieces for Emerson Dance Company showcases, Kobolds: A New Musical (Emerson College Musical Theatre Society), The Drowsy Chaperone (Emerson College; EVVY Award), and Seussical The Musical among others.
Kayla also produces ACTORIA, a bi-weekly cabaret in Astoria, Queens, and teaches dance.
